hehe.

So at the beginning of this year, I said that I would be updating the gallery more often with more substantial work... but as it turns out, I'm lazy. Other than the facebook graffiti that I've been spamming my friends' walls with, I haven't done anything, not even an oekaki.

umm. oh well.

Realism Illustrates, Impressionism Gives Feeling.
There once was a girl who was born without any eyes of her own. She did not mind herself, however her parents were utterly repulsed! They locked her up in the highest tower of the house and only let her out on occasion. To pass the time, she painted beautiful paintings, and because she could not see, she felt them with her heart. One day, in the Spring, her parents went mad and sewed buttons in place of her eyes in her sleep. She awoke to their rejoicing. With her new eyes, the girl could see the world and no longer knew how to feel it with her heart. And so she painted herself into a picture frame to escape.
Her parents saw the painting and the unrivaled beauty of it made them cry for the rest of their lives, as did all those who looked upon it...
